Two Great Tours to Choose From!

Our Nashville food tours are fun and memorable experiences, even if you’ve visited a gazillion times! Don’t just take our word for it, see what our past guests have said: “Amazing tour – great food and a great host,” “both tours were delicious and fun,” and it was “the best team building activity!”

One of our food tours in Germantown, Nashville’s first neighborhood which is now in the peak of redevelopment and home to numerous award-winning restaurants, starts at the Farmers Market and then walks through the Bicentennial Capitol Park before walking over to historic Germantown with large trees, brick sidewalks, boutiques, and amazing restaurants with great food!

The Gulch District has developed into a hotspot for young urbanites where you can find great restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and mid-rise residential life. This food tour of Nashville starts at the historic and beautiful Union Station Hotel which was the railroad terminal, then crosses over the viaduct and down into The Gulch district to sample some of the most popular and talked about foods in Nashville.

Germantown and The Gulch District are both popular, unique must-see areas of Nashville! Discover them on a tour with Local Tastes of Nashville!

Germantown Tour is Amazing

I was really skeptical when I found out that my team (work outing) decided to do a food tour. I am a real meat and potatoes guy, and I thought this might consist of really sophisticated (aka terrible tasting) food served in tiny portions. WRONG!! The food was AMAZING!!! Tennessee BBQ, Grits, Brisket from Heaven, and quite possibly the best cupcake I have ever eaten in my life. The portions sizes were great, too, and that's coming from a guy north of 300 pounds, so...yeah.

Walking Food Tour of Germantown

I highly recommend. Laurie was our leader - she was knowledgeable and interesting as she brought us through the market, bicentennial park, and Germantown. The tour is an excellent combination of history, local interest, and awesome food! We even went back the next day for dinner at one of the restaurants

The Gulch

Was a great food walking tour. We had samples several good places. Kristin was knowledgeable and interacted with all on the tour. I have to say Biscuit Love and the candy store were my favorites, but hubby loved Peg Leg Porker. But all the other spots were good too. Enjoyed it and would do it again!

Highly Recommend!

We did the private tour in Germantown and it was amazing. Debbie was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We did have dietary restrictions that were accommodated at each stop. More than enough for lunch. Highly recommend!
